【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversatestprocedureforevaluatingtherustandcorrosioninhibitingpropertiesofagearlubricantwhilesubjectedtowatercontaminationandelevatedtemperatureinabench-mountedhypoiddifferentialhousingassembly.ThistestmethodiscommonlyreferredtoastheL-33-1test.ThevaluesfortemperaturestatedasdegreesFahrenheit,forpressurestatedaspsi,andvolumestatedasfluidouncesaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIvaluesgivenintheparenthesesareprovidedforinformationalpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
