【摘要】:MeasurementsofEOcontentcorrelatewithpolyolreactivity(asrelatedtoprimaryhydroxylcontent),linearityoffoamrise,andthehydrophilicityofthepolyolandfinalproduct.Statisticaldatasuggestthatthe13CNMRtestmethodisthepreferredmethodformeasuringlowlevels(lessthan10%)ofpolymerizedEOinpolyols.The1Hand13CNMRtestmethodsgivedifferentresultswhicharehighlycorrelated.Theequationofthelinearregressionis:Thestandarddeviationoftheregressionis0.49andthemultipleR-squareis0.9990.1.1TestMethodA8212;ProtonNuclearMagneticResonanceSpectroscopy(1HNMR)measurespolymerizedethyleneoxide(EO)inethyleneoxide-propyleneoxidepolyethersusedinflexibleurethanefoamsandnonfoams.ItissuitablefordiolsmadefromthecommonlyusedinitatorsandcontainingEOpercentagesabovefive.Fortriolsinitiatedwithglycerinandtrimethylolpropane,anuncorrectedEOvalueisobtainedsincebothinitiatorshaveprotonsthatcontributetotheEOmeasurement.1.2TestMethodB8212;Carbon-13NuclearMagneticResonanceSpectroscopy(13CNMR)measuresthepolymerizedEOcontentofethyleneoxide-propyleneoxidepolyethersusedinflexibleurethanefoamsandnonfoams.ItissuitablefordiolsandtriolsmadefromthecommonlyusedinitiatorsandcontainingEOpercentagesabovefive.Note18212;TherearenoequivalentISOstandards.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
