【摘要】:ThisStandardappliestothedesign,construction,installation,maintenance,inspection,andoperationofconveyorsandconveyingsystemsinrelationtohazards.Theconveyorsmaybeofthebulkmaterial,package,orunithandlingtypeswheretheinstallationisdesignedforpermanent,temporary,orportableoperation.ThisStandardshallapply,withtheexceptionsnotedbelow,toallconveyorinstallations.ThisStandardspecificallyexcludesanyconveyordesignedfor,installedfor,orusedprimarilyforthemovementofhumanbeings.ThisStandarddoes,however,applytocertainconveyingdevicesthatincorporatewithintheirsupportingstructureworkstationsoroperatorsstationsspecificallydesignedforauthorizedoperatingpersonnel.ThisStandarddoesnotapplytoconveyorssuchasundergroundmineconveyorsforwhichspecificstandardsarealreadyineffect,ortoequipmentsuchasindustrialtrucks,tractors,trailers,automaticguidedvehicles,tieringmachines(exceptpalletloadtierers),cranes,hoists,powershovels,powerscoops,bucketdraglines,trenchers,platformelevatorsdesignedtocarrypassengersoranoperator,manlifts,movingwalks,movingstairways(escalators),highwayorrailroadvehicles,cableways,tramways,dumbwaiters,pneumaticconveyors,robots,orintegralmachinetransferdevices.Someoftheforegoinghavespecificstandards.TheprovisionsofthisStandardshallapplytoequipmentinstalledoneyearafterthedateofissuance.
