【摘要】:Thermogravimetryprovidesarapidmethodfordeterminingthetemperature-decompositionprofileofamaterial.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforestimatinglifetimesofmaterials,usingTestMethodE1877providedthatarelationshiphasbeenestablishedbetweenthethermalendurancetestresultsandactuallifetimetests.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthedeterminationofthekineticparameters,Arrheniusactivationenergy,andpreexponentialfactorbythermogravimetry,basedontheassumptionthatthedecompositionobeysfirst-orderkinetics.1.2Thistestmethodisgenerallyapplicabletomaterialswithwell-defineddecompositionprofiles,namely,asmooth,continuousmasschangewithasinglemaximumrate.1.3Thistestmethodisnormallyapplicabletodecompositionoccurringintherangefrom400to1300K(100to1000176;C).Thetemperaturerangemaybeextendeddependingontheinstrumentationused.1.4Computerorelectronic-basedinstruments,techniques,ordatatreatmentequivalenttothistestmethodmayalsobeused.Note18212;Usersofthistestmethodareexpresslyadvisedthatallsuchinstrumentsortechniquesmaynotbeequivalent.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthistestmethodtodeterminethenecessaryequivalencypriortouse.1.5SIunitsarethestandard.1.6ThismethodissimilartoISO11358-2butdiffersinitsmathematicaltreatment.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
